Creating a better world starts with building stronger communities, and we believe we have an important part to play in those efforts. We look to partner with charities, community groups and organisations that are already doing amazing work in this space and are connected to things close to our hearts, like environmental sustainability, surf and swim culture. Through our efforts, we hope to build a better tomorrow, one step at a time.
ONEWAVE
We’re proud to be partners of OneWave, a non-profit surf community with a life-changing mission of raising mental health awareness through a simple recipe: saltwater therapy, surfing and fluro. Every week, OneWave hosts Fluro Fridays at beaches across the world, providing an opportunity for the community to come together for a surf and share personal stories in an “anti-bad vibes” environment.
OneWave’s efforts extend beyond the waves into offices and classrooms where they run “Free the Funk” programs. Our sponsorship helps bring this to local Bondi schools so young kids can learn tips and tools to help keep their heads - and their mates' heads - in tip-top shape. You’ll see us involved in other exciting events and initiatives with OneWave throughout the year, like their 10th Birthday celebrations in March 2023.
TRANSITION BONDI
Will & Co also supports local community group Transition Bondi, which recycles coffee husks from our micro-roasting process at our Bondi HQ. These husks are composted and used in a community garden bed, where foods grown for locals to enjoy.
BONDI PENGUINS & SURF CLUBS
The ocean – Bondi Beach especially – is a big part of who we are. Not just for our proximity to it, but for the special way it connects our local community. We’re a proud sponsor of Bondi Penguins, a local social swim group that gets together every Wednesday morning from October to May for ‘ins and outs’ (swim/run sprints) at North Bondi, followed by coffee at Porch & Parlour.
We also sponsor the oldest surf club in the world – the Bondi Surf Club – and support their Nipper program (we were Nippers once upon a time, too!). Most recently, we also joined on as sponsors of the North Bondi Surf Club.
